Crowds gathered at St Ciaran’s College on Thursday evening to visit the now annual Christmas Market organised by the school. With other seventy local traders there was much to see and buy at the event with everything from artisan food and treats to giftware, clothing and much much more.
The event was a fun-filled for all the family with characters roaming the corridors and halls. Elves helped announce Santa’s arrival who presented gifts to all the young boys and girls – many making the effort to dress up as elves and fairies themselves. Music was provided by carol singers and the wonderful merry sounds from St Eugene’s Brass Band.
St Ciaran’s would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the market including the vendors and stall-holders. It was a great community event to start the festive season and the festivities continue in St Ciaran’s next week at the College’s Annual Carol Service, featuring our renowned choirs and instrumentalists, on Thursday 6th December 2018 to which all our welcome.
