“Including Everyone, Inspiring All to Succeed”
St. Ciaran’s has a long tradition of providing excellent education, founded in 1966 by Canon Carragher, Parish Priest of Ballygawley, the purpose of St. Ciaran’s was to promote secondary education for all children of the area.
As the new principal I have already been impressed with the College’s ethos, warmth and sense of community.
St. Ciaran’s is committed to ensuring that our pupils are provided with a wide range of learning experiences both in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities. Our dedicated staff provide opportunities for our pupils to be involved in sport, music, drama, community and leadership projects.
We are guided by our school motto ‘Fortis in Fide’ meaning “strong in faith.” As a Catholic school community, St. Ciaran’s provides high quality, holistic education for all our pupils so that they can develop their full uniqueness and potential, in a climate of mutual respect, support, challenge and celebration.
St. Ciaran’s is a specialist school for Business and Mathematics. This designation recognises our commitment to excellence and our success in promoting achievement, not only in Business and Mathematics but also across all aspects of school life.
As a school we are very proud of our history, tradition and achievements over the past 50 years. I encourage you to explore our website to give you a sense of the vibrant life that characterises St. Ciaran’s and also invite you become involved in our golden jubilee celebrations.
